The needles are extremely fine and have no resemblance to hypodermic needles. All needles

are sterile and for single use only.

experienced practitioner but also has been a teacher and founder of the Metavision Institute. You’re in

good hands.

What should I expect on my first visit?

When you first come in, we’ll ask some standard questions about your health history. We then discuss

your main concern as well as any other health concerns. We will conduct a TCM tongue and pulse

diagnosis and talk about your lifestyle, diet, sleep, energy and stress levels and so on. Treatment will be

designed to suit your individual needs. Allow an hour for this visit.

What is Process Oriented Psychology?

Process-oriented psychology, also known as Process Work, is a dynamic, person-centred approach

developed by Arnold Mindell and associates in the 1970s and on. Rooted in Jungian depth psychology

and influenced by quantum physics and Eastern spirituality, it focuses on signal awareness and reading

three levels of awareness simultaneously to support the client's unfolding process. The therapist

follows and supports this process, trusting in the client's innate wisdom. Process Work has expanded

from individual therapy to group and world issues, addressing rank, power, privilege, and

marginalisation. Training in Process Work is extensive over numerous years, with an internationally

recognised diploma from institutions such as the Process Work Institute in Portland, USA.

What is Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy?

Counselling and Psychotherapy are talking therapies that assist with the discomfort that has caused a

person to seek help. There are many different approaches and many different reasons why a person

comes to counselling and Psychotherapy.

In my Holistic approach, I work with the whole person as a being of body, soul and spirit within specific

circumstances, at a particular time in their lifespan and cultural influences. I do not diagnose as such;

instead, I work with their symptoms and signals as indicators of ways to support my clients in unfolding

the process to help them become more fully themselves. I see symptoms and difficulties as

opportunities for growth rather than problems to be eradicated.

Psychotherapy is a more in-depth exploration of an issue a client might bring to an appointment. It

works with the ‘psyche’ also called soul. Counselling is often seen as dealing with day-to-day issues,

frequently using cognitive behavioural methods. Counselling and Psychotherapy are on a continuum

for addressing issues. Both have value and are used appropriately in my holistic approach to move a

person’s process rapidly.
